Our world today is filled with chaos. Everywhere we look, something is going wrong. People are hurting each other, there are wars in different countries, prices of food and gas are rising, families are falling apart, and it seems like no one knows what truth is anymore. Natural disasters are happening more often, and many people are afraid of what the future holds. It feels like everything is getting worse and worse.
You are not alone if you are afraid. Many people feel confused, hopeless, and scared. They wonder, “Why is this happening?” or “What will happen next?” But here’s what I want to share with you: I am not surprised, and I am not scared. Why? Because everything we see today has already been written in the Bible.
Yes, the Bible talks about these times. It tells us that in the last days, there will be trouble. People will be lovers of themselves. They will not listen to their parents. They will not care about others. There will be wars and rumors of wars. The Bible says there will be famines, earthquakes, and many false teachers. All of this is written in plain words. So when I see what’s happening around us, I am not shocked. I already know these things will come.
But more than that, I am not afraid. The Bible doesn’t just talk about the bad things. It gives us hope. It tells us that God is still in control, no matter how dark the world gets. He is not surprised by anything, and His plan is still working. He already told us what will happen so that we would not be scared. Instead, we can be ready.
If you are not a Christian, maybe this sounds strange to you. Maybe you have lived your whole life without thinking much about God. Maybe you have been searching for something that makes sense. I want to tell you today: start reading the Bible. Don’t rush it. Just open it, read a little each day, and ask God to help you understand. The Bible is not just an old book. It is the living Word of God. It has the answers to your questions. It brings peace in the middle of fear.
Some people think the Bible is only about rules or religion. But it’s more than that. It’s a story of love. It tells the truth about our broken world, but also tells us that God made a way for us to have peace and hope through His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus came to save us, to forgive our sins, and to give us eternal life. That’s not just something nice to say. It’s real. And when you believe in Him, your life changes.
When I read the Bible, I don’t feel panic. I feel peace. The Holy Spirit helps me understand what I’m reading. He speaks to my heart. He reminds me that no matter what happens around me, I am safe in God’s hands. That doesn’t mean life will be perfect. We will still go through hard times. But we will not be alone. God is always with us.
Maybe you are someone who has been lost for many years. You’ve tried everything—money, success, relationships, even different beliefs—but nothing fills the emptiness inside. I want to encourage you today: give the Bible a chance. Don’t wait for the perfect moment. Start now. Ask God to show you the truth. Let the Holy Spirit guide you step by step.
You don’t need to have all the answers. You don’t need to fix everything in your life first. Just come as you are. God is not looking for perfect people. He is looking for open hearts. He is a loving Father who is waiting for you to come home.
The Bible says, “Do not be afraid, for I am with you.” That promise is not just for a few people—it is for anyone who believes. That includes you. You don’t have to live in fear anymore. You can live with faith, even in the middle of this broken world.
We may not know what will happen tomorrow. But we know who holds tomorrow. God is faithful. He keeps His promises. And He will never leave those who trust in Him.
So if you are tired of being afraid... if you are tired of feeling lost... if you want peace that this world cannot give... read the Bible. Let it speak to you. Let God show you the truth. It might be the most important decision you ever make.
The world is full of fear—but with God, you can have peace.
And that’s why I am not afraid.
