God Did Not Make a Mistake: Choosing to Believe the Bible About Men and Women

There are times when I am talking to people, I honestly don’t know what to say. It’s hard when people bring up things that go against what I believe. I try to be kind and respectful, but deep inside, I want to speak the truth. I want people to know that I stand on what the Bible says. I choose to believe God’s Word more than what influencers, celebrities, or the world says.

I believe that God did not make a mistake when He created man and woman.

The Bible says in Genesis 1:27 (NIV):
"So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."

This verse is clear. God made two genders: male and female. He created both for a purpose. Men are men, and women are women. This is not something we should try to change.

Old Fashion, But Biblical

Some people say I’m old-fashioned. And you know what? I am okay with that. I believe the Bible from beginning to end. The world today wants to change everything. They want to change how God designed people. They say you can be whatever you feel like being. But feelings change. God’s Word does not.

Hebrews 13:8 (NIV) says:
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."

God’s truth does not change just because the world changes. What was true thousands of years ago is still true today.

A Lost Generation

I have seen with my own eyes how men dress up and try to look like women. I’ve also seen women trying to look and act like men. Some even change their bodies through surgery and take hormones. It breaks my heart. I see people lost and confused. I do not hate them. I pray for them. I believe they are lost souls trying to find love and acceptance in the wrong places.

The Bible speaks about this confusion.

Romans 1:26-27 (NIV) says:
"Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error."

This is not just my opinion. This is God’s Word. God is very clear about His design for men and women.

You Are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

Sometimes people think they are born in the wrong body. But I believe that’s a lie from the enemy. God does not make mistakes. He knows exactly who you are and who He made you to be.

Psalm 139:13-14 (NIV) says:
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."

God took His time when He created each one of us. You are not a mistake. Your gender is not a mistake. You were made on purpose, for a purpose.

Love and Truth Go Together

I want to make something very clear. Just because I speak the truth does not mean I hate people who are confused about their gender. I love them, but I love them enough to tell them the truth.

Ephesians 4:15 (NIV) says:
"Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ."

Speaking the truth in love is what God wants us to do. Ignoring the truth does not help anyone. Telling people what they want to hear just so they feel better does not help their soul.

God Has a Plan for Men and Women

God made men and women with different roles and purposes. We are equal in value but different in design. Men are not better than women, and women are not better than men. We each have our God-given role.

1 Corinthians 11:11-12 (NIV) says:
"Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God."

God designed us to complement each other, not to compete or try to change into something we’re not.

The Enemy Wants to Confuse You

We must also understand that there is a spiritual battle going on. The devil wants to confuse people. He wants people to feel broken, lost, and without identity.

John 10:10 (NIV) says:
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

Satan wants to steal your identity. He wants to destroy families and confuse children about who they are. But Jesus came to give us life and truth.

There Is Hope for Everyone

The good news is that no matter how far someone has gone, there is hope. God can restore broken hearts. God can heal confused minds. If you are someone struggling with your identity, please know that God loves you and can help you.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV) says:
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

When you give your life to Jesus, He will help you see yourself the way He sees you. You don’t have to stay confused. You don’t have to change your body to find happiness. Your true identity is found in Christ.

My Final Thought

I choose to believe the Bible. I choose to stand on God’s Word, even when it’s not popular. I choose to love people enough to tell them the truth. I believe God made me a woman on purpose, and I am thankful for that.

To anyone reading this who feels confused: God loves you. He has a good plan for you. Trust Him. Come back to Him. He will show you who you really are.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) says:
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Let’s stop listening to the world and start listening to God. He never makes mistakes.
