In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. He made everything with a purpose, including mankind. The Bible tells us in Genesis 1:27, "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." This verse makes it clear that God made two genders—man and woman. He designed them to be different but complementary, each with a unique role in His plan.
Today, we see a lot of confusion in the world. Many men want to become women, and many women want to become men. But the truth is, no one can change what God has created. No matter how much society tries to change things, God's Word remains the same. "For I am the Lord, I do not change" (Malachi 3:6). What God has established from the beginning cannot be altered by human opinions or desires.
God’s Purpose for Man and Woman
God created men and women for a reason. In Genesis 2:18, He said, "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him." So God made Eve from Adam’s rib, showing that men and women are meant to complement one another. They are not the same, but they are equal in value and purpose.
God also gave men and women different roles. Ephesians 5:22-25 explains that husbands should love their wives as Christ loves the church, and wives should respect their husbands. This does not mean that one is better than the other. Instead, it shows how God designed men and women to work together in harmony.
God Will Not Be Mocked
Many people today want to argue with God’s design. Some say that gender is a personal choice. Others believe that science or feelings can change who they are. But the Bible warns us in Galatians 6:7, "Do not be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." We cannot rebel against God’s truth without facing consequences.
Romans 1:26-27 tells us what happens when people reject God’s design: "For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise, also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful." This verse shows that when people turn away from God’s plan, they fall into confusion and sin.
The Importance of Accepting God’s Creation
God made each person fearfully and wonderfully. Psalm 139:13-14 says, "For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." This means that God made no mistakes when He created you. You are exactly who He intended you to be.
Changing one’s gender does not bring real happiness. Many people who undergo gender changes later regret their decision. They realize that no matter what they do, they cannot change the truth of who God made them to be. Isaiah 45:9 warns, "Woe to him who strives with his Maker!" It is dangerous to argue with God because He knows what is best for us.
The Need for Repentance
God loves everyone, even those who are confused about their gender. He offers forgiveness to those who repent and turn back to Him. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 tells us that people who live in sin will not inherit the kingdom of God, but it also gives hope: "And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God." This means that no matter what sins people have committed, they can be forgiven if they turn to Jesus.
Repentance means admitting that we have sinned and choosing to follow God’s way instead of our own desires. Acts 3:19 says, "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out." God is always ready to forgive those who seek Him with a sincere heart.
Standing for Truth in a Confused World
As Christians, we must stand firm on God’s truth, even when the world disagrees. 2 Timothy 4:2-4 warns that people will reject sound teaching and follow their own desires. But we must continue to share the truth with love and patience.
We should not be afraid to speak up for God’s design. Jesus said in Matthew 10:32-33, "Whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven." We must not be silent when we see the world rejecting God’s truth.
Conclusion: Trust in God’s Plan
God made man and woman with a purpose. He does not make mistakes, and His design cannot be changed by human desires. No matter what the world says, God’s Word remains true. "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away" (Matthew 24:35).
If you are struggling with your identity, remember that God loves you. He made you for a reason, and you do not need to change what He has created. Instead of following the world’s confusion, trust in God’s perfect plan. Seek Him, read His Word, and find peace in the truth that He made you wonderfully and with a purpose.
Let us pray for those who are confused and for the courage to stand firm in God’s truth. Amen.
