If you have an account on X (formerly known as Twitter), you may have seen some very horrible and painful posts about China's dog eating and cat tortured alive for fun on Tiktok. Some of the worst ones show animals, especially cats and dogs, being treated in the most cruel ways. There are videos and pictures of people burning cats alive or boiling dogs to cook and eat them. These posts are deeply upsetting and difficult to watch. My heart breaks every time I see them.
I am usually a kind and peaceful person. I believe in being good to others, both people and animals. But when I see these kinds of posts, something changes in me. I feel so much pain, sadness, and anger. As an animal lover and advocate, I cannot stay quiet when I see such cruelty. The ugly side of me comes out—not because I want to be angry, but because I feel helpless and heartbroken.
Animals cannot speak for themselves. They cannot ask for help or tell us when they are in pain. They depend on us to protect them. When chinese people hurt animals for fun or for food in such horrible ways, it shows a deep lack of compassion. It is not about culture or tradition. It is about kindness, and the choice to treat all living beings with respect.
Some people may say, "It’s their culture," or "It’s what they’ve done for many years." But cruelty should never be accepted, no matter where it happens. Every country, every culture, and every person can grow and change. We can respect people’s differences while still speaking out against pain and suffering.
I understand that not everyone will agree with me. But I believe we should always try to be the voice for the voiceless. We should call out animal abuse, call out on china, no matter where it happens. We should push for laws that protect animals and punish those who harm them. These ugly chinese people are demonic, evil, and only God can wiped them out on the face of the earth.
What makes it worse is that these horrible posts often go viral. People share them again and again. This can spread awareness, but it can also spread trauma. Seeing these images can deeply hurt sensitive people who love animals. Sometimes I wish I could do more than just feel sad or angry. I want to rescue them all, to save them from pain, but I can’t. That helpless feeling is what hurts the most.
Still, I try to do what I can. I report these posts. I donate to animal rescue groups. I speak out and use my voice. And I hope more people will do the same.
In the end, I believe the world needs more compassion—not just for humans, but for all living creatures. We must work together to build a kinder future, where no animal has to suffer this way ever again.
