I am an animal lover. I prefer being with animals more than being with people. Animals are innocent. They don’t lie. They don’t cheat. They don’t judge you. They just want to be loved, fed, and safe. That’s why I feel more peace around animals than I do around most humans.
But the world is not kind to animals. Animals suffer because people are careless, ignorant, or just plain evil. Many people treat animals like objects. Some treat them like trash. That’s sick and disturbing. You have to ask yourself—what kind of person kicks a dog? What kind of person ties up a cat and leaves it outside with no food or water? What kind of person tortures a creature that can’t fight back?
If you can abuse an animal, there is something deeply wrong with you. You are not just “mean.” You are dangerous. It shows there’s something broken in your soul. If you can harm a dog or a cat and feel nothing, it means you are not far from hurting a child, a partner, or a stranger.
You need help. Real help. If you can torture an animal, you should be in a psychiatric facility. You need to be evaluated and treated. No one in their right mind gets pleasure out of seeing an animal suffer. No normal person beats a puppy, or burns a kitten, or runs over a dog on purpose and drives away.
Some people think animals are “just animals.” That’s a lie people tell themselves to feel better about their cruelty. But animals feel pain. They cry. They bleed. They get scared. They trust people, and when that trust is broken, they suffer in silence.
It’s time to stop making excuses for people who hurt animals. There is no excuse. None. If you were abused as a child, get help. But don’t take it out on something weaker than you. If you’re angry at the world, go to therapy. Don’t kick a dog or starve a cat. That doesn’t make you strong. That makes you a coward.
Abusing animals should never be tolerated. I don’t care what your culture is. I don’t care what your excuse is. If you hurt animals, you need to face the consequences. You need to be punished. You need to be stopped.
We need more laws. We need stronger action. But most of all, we need people to speak up. If you see something, say something. Don’t stay silent. Report abuse. Take action. Save a life.
Because animals matter. Their lives matter. And if we allow people to harm them, we open the door to more violence. Protecting animals is not just about kindness. It’s about justice.
And if you can't understand that, then you are part of the problem.
