We come before You today with heavy hearts for those who have recently lost their jobs or are facing uncertainty—especially those who serve or have served in the federal government. Lord, You see the tears they’ve shed behind closed doors, the sleepless nights filled with worry, and the fear of what tomorrow might bring. You are our Provider, Jehovah Jireh, and we ask You to remind each heart that You are still in control, even in this storm.
Father, we pray for peace to replace panic, for faith to rise above fear, and for hope to take root where despair tries to grow. Let those who have lost employment not see this as an end, but as a divine redirection toward something greater. Open doors that no man can shut. Lead them to opportunities that align with their skills, their purpose, and the calling You have placed upon their lives.
Provide for every need—food, shelter, bills, and the strength to keep going. For those who feel forgotten or undervalued, whisper Your promises into their hearts: that they are chosen, loved, and never abandoned. Remind them that their worth is not in a job title but in being Your child.
We pray for wisdom for government leaders making tough decisions. May they act with compassion, fairness, and integrity. Heal the broken systems that cause unnecessary hardship, and bring stability to those affected.
Lord, let this season birth resilience, creativity, and deeper faith. Let testimonies rise from these trials—stories of Your miraculous provision and new beginnings.
We trust You, Lord, to turn mourning into dancing and loss into breakthrough. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray,
Amen.
