Why I Support President Trump: Protecting America, Borders, and Values

One day, I was watching television and saw people marching of "No Kings" angry at President Donald Trump. I’m not really into politics, but I like many of the things he is doing for the United States of America. Let me explain why I feel that way.

I grew up during the time of President Ronald Reagan. Those were years filled with hope and pride.

  • The economy was strong
  • Jobs were easy to find.
  • People seemed happier and life felt simple.
  • Our country was safe, and people respected the law.
  • Americans worked hard for what they had and were proud of it.

Today, things feel very different. I have seen with my own eyes how drugs like fentanyl and cocaine have destroyed families and communities.

  • Many young people are losing their lives.
  • Our streets are not as safe as they used to be.
  • Cities are filled with people struggling with addiction and homelessness.
  • It feels like the moral and social foundation of our country is falling apart.

Another thing that worries me is how the borders are being handled.

  • Over 30 million illegal immigrants have come into our country.
  • Many receive free housing, free food, free healthcare, free education, and even free money—while hardworking Americans pay taxes to support these benefits.
  • I believe America should always be a land of opportunity—but it should also be a land of law, order, and responsibility.
  • It’s only fair to reward those who follow the rules and work hard for a better future.

That’s why I appreciate what President Trump has been trying to do. He focuses on things that truly matter for America:

  • Putting America First and protecting our borders.
  • Making sure our tax dollars are used wisely.
  • Stopping the flow of drugs into our communities.
  • Creating jobs and supporting American workers.
  • Working to reduce our $36 trillion national debt.
  • Making fair trade deals that benefit our nation.

Some people march in the streets against him, but I often wonder if they really understand why.

It’s easy to get angry, but it’s better to stop, think deeply, and pray for wisdom. No leader is perfect, but I believe God can use anyone to bring order and restoration when a nation turns away from what is right.

Before I worked in banking, I was a flight attendant and traveled around the world. I saw how other countries operate. In places like Dubai, for example:

  • You don’t hear about illegal immigration or drugs flooding the streets.
  • Their laws are strict, and people follow them. America could learn something about discipline and respect for authority.

The Bible says in Proverbs 29:2 (KJV):

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

I believe America needs righteous leadership—someone like President Donald Trump, who will protect its people, restore its values, and bring back the sense of pride that once made this nation great.
