China and the Devil: Idol Worship, Animal Cruelty, and the Road to Hell

Every time I open X (Twitter) to check updates for my business, I am forced to see videos of cats and dogs being beaten, boiled alive, and tortured. Most of these videos come from China, and it makes me furious. It makes me sick. I hate it. I cannot stay silent when I see this evil.

China is a country filled with idol worship and false gods. When you bow down to statues and pray to idols, you are not praying to the true God — you are speaking to demons. 1 Corinthians 10:20 says, “The sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God.” This is why so much evil comes from these places. When you reject God, Satan takes control. 2 Corinthians 4:4 says, “The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers.”

God sees every bit of this cruelty. Proverbs 15:3 says, “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.” These people are not hiding from Him. And make no mistake — if they die without repentance, they will go to hell. Revelation 21:8 is clear: “The vile, the murderers... will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur.” That includes those who torture animals for fun.

God created animals for a purpose — to work with us, to provide food, and to be companions. Genesis 1:28 says He gave us dominion over them, which means care and responsibility. Beating them to death is not dominion — it is sin.

This is not just animal cruelty. This is spiritual darkness. It is proof of a nation without God. Idol worship opens the door to Satan, and Satan fills people’s hearts with hatred and violence. John 10:10 says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.” That is exactly what I see when I watch these videos — Satan’s work.

I do not feel sorry for the abusers. I feel sorry for their souls. They are on the road to hell. John 14:6 says, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” If they reject Jesus, they will never escape judgment.

God hates this violence. Psalm 11:5 says, “The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, he hates with a passion.” His judgment will come — and it will be righteous.

Until then, I will keep praying for these people to repent. But I will also keep speaking the truth: idol worship leads to hell, animal cruelty is evil, and only Jesus can save a nation lost in darkness.
