I Was Shocked by What I Saw on TV — Has America Forgotten God’s Truth?

 

I can’t believe what I saw on TV.  It was a program about what they called “No Kings Day,” and it left me speechless. I couldn’t understand how so many people could be blinded by lies. The Bible says the devil walks around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. And that’s exactly what I saw — people confused, angry, and lost, not realizing how Satan is working in their minds.

Sometimes I feel sad when I see what is happening to our country. The morals and values that once made America great are fading. People are now calling good things bad, and bad things good. I’m not a political person, but I believe in truth, honesty, and doing what is right in God’s eyes. I love America, and I thank God for this nation that was built on freedom and hard work.

I believe that if you want to have a better life, you have to take responsibility for yourself. You can’t depend on others to carry you forever. When I see people who are able to work but choose not to, it breaks my heart. God gave us hands and a mind to use for His glory, not for laziness. The Bible says, “If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat.” (2 Thessalonians 3:10)

During my time working with a state department partnership, I saw many things that opened my eyes. I saw people standing in long lines waiting for help when they were strong enough to work. I saw families struggling to make ends meet, even though they worked hard every day. It reminded me that fairness and order are important. Every home, every nation, needs rules to stay strong.

I also believe that people who come to America should follow the right process. Just like when someone comes into your house, you want them to knock, not sneak in. You want them to respect your home, your food, and your family. The same goes for a country. America is like a home — and every home needs boundaries to stay safe.

Our nation needs a deep cleaning, not from people, but from corruption, lies, and hatred. Just like we clean our homes and remove the dust and junk, we need to clean our hearts and minds as a nation. Violence, greed, and confusion are spreading everywhere. When people turn violent or lose compassion, it shows how far we’ve drifted from God.

I believe it’s time for America to return to truth — God’s truth. It’s time to stop being divided and start seeking righteousness. Only then can we see real peace. The Bible says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” (Psalm 33:12) That’s the America I believe in — a country that honors God, values hard work, and stands for truth.
