God Created You on Purpose: Male and Female Identity According to the Bible

I don’t know about you, but I choose to believe God. I believe what He says in the Bible. When God says He created people as male and female, I believe Him. Nothing in this world can change my mind.

God is not confused. He doesn’t make mistakes. He made you a man on purpose. He made you a woman on purpose. He knew exactly what He was doing when you were formed in the womb. In Genesis 1:27, the Bible says, “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” That’s clear and simple. God was specific.

You are not a woman if you have a penis. You are not a man if you have a vagina. Wearing a dress doesn’t make a man into a woman. Putting on pants and cutting your hair doesn’t turn a woman into a man. These are just clothes and outward appearances. The truth is found in how God made you.

This world is full of confusion. But God is not the author of confusion. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 14:33, “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.” If you feel confused about who you are, that confusion is not from God. It's coming from the world around you—what you see online, what people say, and the voices you let into your life.

If you are feeling lost or unsure about your identity, it’s time to wake up. You are not crazy. You are not broken. But you are being influenced by a world that has turned away from God. Your environment matters. What you watch, what you hear, and who you hang around—these things affect your thoughts and your heart.

If people in your life are always speaking lies, tearing you down, or pushing you toward confusion, it’s time to walk away. Let go of the toxic voices. Stay away from people who do not lead you closer to God. They are not helping you. In fact, they may be harming you—mentally, emotionally, and even physically.

God made you with love. He formed every part of you with care. You are not a mistake. You are not supposed to be someone else. You don’t need to change your body to be accepted. God already accepts you. He made you with purpose, and He has a plan for your life.

You are valuable just the way God created you. No surgery, no hormone, no outfit can change the truth of who you are in God’s eyes. Don’t let the world define you. Let God define you.

If you’re feeling confused, turn to God. Open the Bible. Pray. Ask God to show you the truth. He will guide you and give you peace. Remember, Jeremiah 1:5 says, Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.”

God doesn’t make mistakes. And that means you are not a mistake either.
